President Mr. Wu Changhong fully acknowledged the Subcommittee’s work in the first half of the year, believing that its efforts have provided strong support for the industry’s development. Drawing on Double Ring Transmission’s own transformation experience, President Wu analyzed the current market situation in the gear industry: The industry is currently facing a structural contradiction of "overcapacity," with intensified "price wars" between companies and severe "internal competition" within the industry. To overcome this predicament, a shift in development thinking is necessary — upgrading from a "single component supplier" to a "component solution provider," ultimately achieving "mechatronic (electromechanical control) integration."

All participants agreed that mechatronic control integration is the future direction for the gear industry: On one hand, integrated products can significantly enhance technological added value; on the other hand, integration can eliminate outdated, low-end capacity, driving the industry towards "high-end manufacturing" while expanding the overall market capacity.
